ABOUT ME
I am utterly enthralled with art, humanity, and storytelling through beautiful imagery.
My son told me I'm a workaholic. I told him this is what it looks like when you make a living doing what you love, and I wish nothing less for him.
My husband and I got married less than a year after we met. We're celebrating our 25th anniversary this June. I don't think there are rules when it comes to love and marriage, just what makes sense to each couple.
I love the scent of darkroom chemicals.
In my off-season, I make short-form documentary films with non-profit organizations that I have shown in multiple film festivals.
I don't have a favorite color. Or rather, I don't have one favorite color. Every day I have a new favorite color.
MY APPROACH
My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling and presence. I photograph weddings as they unfold, focusing on emotive moments, natural-light portraiture, and honest, candid imagery. I won't ask you to perform or create moments. Instead, I make space for things to happen naturally and pay close attention when they do.
THE PROCESS
I offer gentle guidance when it’s helpful, especially during portraits, but always in a way that feels relaxed and unforced. Light, landscape, and atmosphere play an essential role in my work, and I embrace changing conditions as part of the story rather than something to control.
THE GALLERY
My editing is true to life and intentionally timeless. Skin tones remain natural, colors stay grounded, and nothing is over-processed or heavily stylized. The final gallery is thoughtfully curated to tell a complete, cohesive story—balancing quiet, intimate moments with the larger energy of the day. The result is a collection of images that feel honest and enduring, preserving not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt, now and years from now.
